​Kalaetron is a fully digitalized sensor that uses artificial intelligence to process several million high-frequency pulses per second from the radar and communication signal spectrum. This capability makes the sensor so flexible that the same hardware can be used as a radar warning sensor platform-independently in the self-protection systems of combat and mission aircraft as well as helicopters.
