KCD2 has a surprisingly emotional KCD1 CALLBACK hidden in one of its reminiscence spots.
While sitting near a gap in the walls of Kuttenberg, Henry says it reminds him of FRITZ'S SMILE, his childhood friend from the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
He then remembers how, when they were kids, the two got into a fight... and Henry KNOCKED OUT FRITZ'S TWO FRONT TEETH. 😂
It's such a small interaction, but it gives us some extra backstory about Henry and Fritz's childhood while bringing back memories of a character we haven't seen since KCD1.
And it's even better knowing that little moments like this were added to KCD2 later through a FREE UPDATE.
These connections between KCD1 and KCD2 are some of my favorite details in the series.
