This is a recording of a public lecture that was delivered live at the Eureka Centre on 01/09/2022. In this edition of Talking History, On the eve of the 100-year anniversary of Henry Lawson’s death, Brigid Magner as she discusses the cultural meanings of relics related to Lawson which have been preserved in public collections. Brigid is a Senior Lecturer in Literary Studies and founding member of the non/fictionLab at RMIT University.

Talking History is a forum for the sharing of research into the history of the Ballarat region, with a special focus on the colonial period.
