Henning Schmiedt’s new original variations of Bach’s famous Goldberg aria deal with the same theme as the original – to find rest in sleepless nights and the hope that slumber will finally come.
Accordingly the titles of the songs In Henning’s new album Schlafen tell the story of a hypnosis session.
The upright muted piano is played extremely softly and gently, presenting the iconic classical gem in a very different attitude.
Microphones placed very closely to the piano capture an intimate sound and emphasise the noises and movements inside the piano.
The music paints the blue color of twilight and might make you sink in deeply.

Collected Visits is the gorgeous debut album by Sparrows – the wonderful solo project by by Ryota Miyake, who is also a key member of the well-known synth pop group CRYSTAL (signed to French’s famed electronic label Institubes and Sound Pellegrino).
This debut album from Sparrows is an excellent collection of beautiful songs made by Ryota from the past 5 years. Each of these amazing songs is delightfully produced with liveliness, and yet gives the listeners a pleasant cosy vibe when his music fills the air.

Sivutie, which is a Finnish word – means “back road”, is conceived based on an unique concept – a girl’s mysterious world in a night dream. In this 15-tracks debut full-length, Noah gently blended in the musical influences she carefully absorbed – the piano pieces she listened during childhood, the choir harmony from churches, soundtrack of French animation films, 90’s trip-hop, R&B music, the exchange of ideas with SELA. (whom she released a split with), and she transformed all these into some cinematic and yet tantalizing sounds with full imagination. With her delicate singing, the mysterious drone noises, the fluffy melodies that float like the night air, Sivutie, a breath-taking ambient album, shines like the light shimmers on the water surface of a pool.
Noah’s Sivutie is like the ghost of Aaliyah, with Jessie Ware’s aesthetic, dipped into the mellow moment of Lapalux, on the background of Burial’s loneliness.
