Join us for this round of the Hemisphere Christmas Games on 22nd-29th December.

Sign up for the hemisphere you currently live in using the sign-up sheet, then when you’ve completed a prompt submit the prompt using the submission form. They can be found in the Google Drive along with the Treasure Hunt bingo board and a how it works form.

Reading prompts:

- Read as many books as you can - point scoring based on pages read - 10 pages equals 1 point
- You earn 5 bonus points if you read a Christmas book
- You earn 10 bonus points if you read a Christmas book set in the Hemisphere you’re from
- You earn 20 bonus points if you read a Christmas book in the opposite Hemisphere you’re from

Treasure hunt:

Find as many of the things on the bingo board as you can and post a photo to Instagram, Twitter, or in the Discord. It can be the real thing, a part of a Christmas decoration, on a card, or on wrapping paper. You earn 5 points for each picture, and an extra 5 points if the picture is of the real thing. Once you’ve completed a prompt on the bingo board fill in the submission form.

Bingo board prompts:

- A Christmas stocking
- Wattle blooming
- A Christmas wreath
- A Santa in someone’s yard or porch
- Your favourite tradition
- A Christmas pudding
- A kangaroo or koala in a Santa hat - fair play anyone that can wrangle an actual koala or kangaroo into a santa hat!
- A cozy fire in a fireplace
- Cooking on the BBQ

We know a lot of people in the Northern Hemisphere are going to struggle with some of the more Southern Hemisphere prompts, but have a try and see if you can recreate some of them, maybe buy a toy koala and stick a Santa hat on it, tell any friends or family you have in Australia to send you Australian Christmas cards this year.
