To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, a new animation has been launched by Hemat Gryffe Women’s Aid, in association with Police Scotland. This animation will help to provide support to female migrants, who may not be aware that they are immediately protected by law from abuse and exploitation as soon as they set foot in Scotland.
This animation was funded by University of Strathclyde, Funding Knowledge Exchange Programme and Hemat Gryffe.
Languages featured on the animation include: Arabic, Bengali, Mandarin, Hindi, Polish, Punjabi, Russian, Ukrainian and Urdu.
