Students learn differently when they stop seeing science as something other people do.

By tackling real-world problems, working through uncertainty, and making discoveries of their own, students begin to see themselves as scientists, not just students completing assignments.

That sense of belonging matters. When students can picture themselves contributing to a field, asking questions, and creating knowledge, their relationship with learning starts to change.
