I describe what I know and don't yet understand fully about the representations of orbital diagrams.
I understand that an orbital diagram implies an energy of an electron with a system of other electrons and nuclei but I do not know what is known about the components of this energy and how they vary over time. I also am unaware of how we know what we know and do not accept statements such as "electrons behave as waves" to properly describe what we know.
