All of us here at The Carter Center are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love for President Carter on his 99th birthday this past Sunday. It means so much to him and his family. Nearly 20K people from over 100 countries sent photos, videos & well-wishes to our digital mosaic.
Over the past few weeks, we have seen the mosaic take off in ways we never imagined. Past and current presidents, musicians, authors, artists, and individuals who believe in President Carter’s vision of a world rooted in peace, health, and human rights have shared their moving birthday tributes. And venues such as Mercedes-Benz Stadium have shown it on large screens for the world to see.
