Helloween is a German power metal band founded in 1984 by members of Iron Fist and Powerfool. The band was a pioneering force in the European Power Metal movement and their second and third studio albums, Keeper of the Seven Keys, Pt. 1 and Pt.2, are considered masterpieces of the genre.Since its creation, the band has released fourteen studio albums and has undergone some line-up changes. Former members have gone on to found numerous bands, including Gamma Ray, Iron Savior, Masterplan and Unisonic. The band has sold more than five million copies worldwide.
