Dear 2020.. You got some nerve!
As songwriters we sometimes speak for other people and what they might be feeling. We wrote Nerve for people who dont always stand up for themselves. The ones who might feel taken for granted. Theres always people who are the loudest and say they’ve “fallen on their sword”. But the people who are the loudest shouldnt be the only voice in the room. We added the line I know that we want the same as a nod to our shared humanity sometimes it helps to remember were all just human in the end.
