Hello Kitty is officially entering the comic book world in a major way!

In Hello Kitty and Friends: Hello World! #1 from IDW Publishing, Hello Kitty and her friends find themselves caught up in a mystery when My Melody’s iconic bow disappears — and then the signature symbols belonging to their friends begin disappearing too!

As suspicion spreads throughout their community, Hello Kitty must become a detective and solve the mystery before her friends turn against one another.

Written by multiple Eisner Award-winning writer Mariko Tamaki with art by Cody Lemieux, this new series brings the classic Hello Kitty aesthetic into comics while adding a surprisingly fun mystery element.
