Then, we’ll talk with the CEO of AVDA (Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse) Maisha Colter and Board of Directors member Katie Tsuru about their nonprofit organization that has served the Houston community for over 45 years with the mission to end family violence. Turning to extreme weather, Storm Chaser Reed Timmer will stop by to discuss his new film “Never Stop Chasing.” And finally, Chef Paul Friedman, owner and executive chef of The Chef’s Table, and his son Kyle Friedman, the contractor and designer who helped bring the River Oaks location to life, will join us to discuss their involvement in Houston Restaurant Weeks.
