Hellenic Tarot by Baroque Publishing, @BaroqueTarot, brings the timeless stories of Greek mythology into the world of tarot. In this review, I'll take you through the deck's artwork, production quality, guidebook, card handling, and unique structure, where each suit explores a different collection of Greek myths while the Major Arcana features the gods, goddesses, and legendary figures of the Hellenic pantheon.
Inspired by the Waite-Smith system, this Kickstarter project pairs familiar tarot archetypes with stories of Persephone, Hades, Hephaestus, Heracles, the Trojan War, and many more. I'll also share why I was pleasantly surprised by how much I connected with this deck—and why I now wish I had picked up some of the campaign add-ons!
