These conversations with Bay Area abortion practitioners are part of "Hella Feminist", an exhibition exploring and challenging the idea of feminism, now on view at the Oakland Museum of California. The Bay Area abortion practitioners in this video offer reproductive care to people with uteruses--including abortions. Some follow western medical practices while others use ancient plant-based knowledge to support their clients’ choices. Listen as they explain why access to abortion is essential to reproductive health and how racism, colorism, classism, and other forms of exclusion affect their work.
