From my experience with the demo and full game, Hell Yeah: Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, is one of those games that goes back in time and brings the oldschool "mascots with attitude" style, from the good old 90s; In a way, i can say the game has a style and attitude that reminds me of a Sega Mega-Drive vibe, with its cool and crazy style, mainstay of oldschool Sega's games.
Even thought the game starts of has a normal platformer, you'll spend a lot of your time riding a saw blade (Which can be costumised) with a handfull of guns on your hands, the saw blade can kill most of your enemies, and the finishing blow always requires completing a different and quite simple mini-game, but as the game goes on, you'll have to upgrade your weapons, so you can defeat enemies that can't be cut trough.
Hell Yeah! is varied enough to keep you entertained, you'll even get to fly a spaceship dodging projectiles and shooting enemies, or get to play on underwater levels with a submarine, and more. The game also requires exploration at some point and supports character customization, which is a nice feature.
Graphically the game looks great, i noticed some pixelation here and there, when playing in full HD 1080p, barely noticeable, but it's as if the image got stretched from a lower resolution such as 900p or 720p, which leads me to believe the game was not designed with Full HD resolution in mind, which is a shame, because the artstyle and animations looks absolutely amazing. This is a problem with many games nowadays but that's a discussion for another topic.
