Several weeks ago, my English professor told my class that we had the choice of either writing a five page reflection paper or instead, doing something artistic. I approached her after the class and asked, “Can I write a metal song?” She said yes.
This is that song. It’s a reflection on the exceptional novel written by Graham Greene called “The Power and the Glory”— an amazing tale about an alcoholic priest from Mexico who’s being chased by Communists.
This single was written, recorded, and produced in a college dorm room, because we do what we do bruh.
I’m unendingly indebted to the artistic genius of Nathan Kwon and Kevin Mitchell for their amazing contributions of cover art and video animation respectively. Love you guys.
