On October 1st we honor the life of Grandmaster Hélio Gracie, the man who redefined martial arts and inspired generations through his vision, perseverance, and unwavering spirit.
What many don’t know is that the Grandmaster loved playing ping pong. Thankfully, our mother, Suzanne Gracie, had the camcorder rolling during this match with Royce, capturing not only his joy but also the same sharp technique and strategy that defined him on the mats.
Happy birthday to the man who gave so much to so many — and thank you for leading by example, on and off the mat.
