Helen Epstein is a veteran journalist and author of Children of the Holocaust, the first book to explore the intergenerational transmission of trauma. It is the first part of a nonfiction trilogy that includes Where She Came From: A Daughter’s Search for Her Mother’s History, and The Long Half-Lives of Love and Trauma, the first #MeToo memoir of 2018, that addresses the long-term fall-out of sexual harassment and assault.
Elizabeth Rosner is the author of Survivor Café: The Legacy of Trauma and the Labyrinth of Memory, recently selected as a finalist for a National Jewish Book Award. The Speed of Light, her debut novel, won several prizes in the US and in Europe, and was shortlisted for the prestigious Prix Femina. Blue Nude was named among the best books of 2006 by the San Francisco Chronicle. Her most recent novel, Electric City, was named one of the best books of 2014 by National Public Radio.
