A gang of thieves were caught tunnelling into a gold and jewellery shop from a neighbouring massage parlour they broke into on Mitcham Road, Tooting.
Ioan Asafeti, 39, of no fixed address and Laurentiu-Daniel Nitisoara, 38, of no fixed address, were arrested at the scene, while Sergiu Plastin, 42, of Portadown, Craigavon was caught trying to flee the country later that day.
