This is a fun design that incorporates your favorite laces and trims into a standing angel - not just for Christmas!
You Can Make This!
Supply List:
Cotton Fabric of your choice - 1/2 yard,
Cotton Batting,
Graph paper, pencil, ruler for patterns,
Sewing Machine,
Scissors, Straight pins, Thread to match fabrics and trims,
Sewing machine, Hand-sewing needle, Quilting thread,
Thimble (optional)
Assorted vintage laces and trims,
Vintage millinery flowers,
Small mother-of-pearl buttons,
Small pearl beads or other small beads,
For stuffing: Poly pellets or bird grit (I used Kaytee high-calcium grit)
Polyester fiberfill,
Funnel,
One craft stick,
Wire cutters, 20-gauge gold wire,
For face:
One 1/5-inch round wooden ball knob,
Woodburning tool,
Bamboo skewer, red acrylic paint, fine-point brown permanent marker,
Cosmetic blush, cotton swab.
For hair: two 4x6-inch index cards, Yarn of your choice, I use loopy mohair,
(Fingering Kid Mohair Nylon Boucle Undyed Yarn Blank from Stickchick on etsy)
For wings, I used vintage paper twist in white, there is something similar on Amazon - "15.31 yard raffia stripes paper string colorful twisted paper" in white,
