How accurate will a complete Height Virgin be when measuring her height for the first time? Giant Jenny from CelebHeights is a Measuring Novice and never actually measured her own height against a wall before!
Let's see how it goes.
I then measure her on the Stadiometer to compare the difference, if any.
Results:
Her self measurement using the can was 170.2-3cm
On the stadiometer I measured her near 171cm. The Stadiometer (in metric) gives 1mm extra, so this was 170.9cm
Basically about 6-7mm difference.
The difference is two-fold.
2mm for floor unevenness.
4mm or so for slightly better posture with me measuring her against the stadiometer.
With her co-ordination issues, it was a decent attempt for a complete height measuring novice. Jenny is what I'd call clumsy, and she herself calls herself that too.
