This is the Captain John Maynard Cabin. Built by John Maynard after fighting in the Civil War. The cabin is completely off grid. No electricity, no plumbing and no running water…only well water. I stayed 2 nights with a beautiful first day that was followed by extremely high winds on day 2! I hunker down in the cabin and ride it out with the wood burning fireplace going! I hike trails on the property, cook food, and relax and take in all the history of the place!
