This video is the fourth in a series titled The Terror of Trauma that plans to explore the theme of trauma present in various horror films. This video focuses on 2015’s The Devil’s Candy and its use of heavy metal as a method to craft meaningful allusions. We specifically focus on how these allusions and songs are able to build upon The Devil’s Candy’s theme of trauma and collective catharsis.
