Honestly I'm at a loss for words - I really cannot think of an amazing description for a person who sung songs that a lot of us related to growing up. Or hell, still relate to as adults trying to make it in this world.

Older generations treats anxiety and depression like its nonsense, but more and more young adults are finding themselves struggling with it. We seek out things to help us remember we aren't alone, that there are others out there who might be able to understand us. Sometimes our mind won't give us a moment of reprieve, won't give us a moment to accept any help that might be offered to us. And then, there are moments when we consider harming ourselves - when the things weighting in our mind become too much to bear. Chester Bennington was a voice for people suffering whether it was teenage angst (we've all been there) or a mental health issue so when he committed suicide, I know it hit all of us hard! I chose this song because its exactly what having a mental health issue is like!
