Song is Heaven’s Night by Akira Yamaoka, from the Silent Hill 2 Soundtrack.
“Amateur” Edit. I wish I could make the year a year that would make sense, like, something after or on the year SH2 was released. Was SH2 even out during VHS times? VCR, VHS? Does a VCR play VHS? I forget.
There is so much I’d like to say about this video.
I don’t normally make this type of stuff, like, “aesthetic” (as in 90s stuff, not sure.) videos.
I looked outside the window, and at the same time, I listened to songs from Silent Hill. The soundtrack is great. Never played any of the games, though.
I wanted to simply make a little edit while on the way to my location. It is half-assed, and was only for fun, as all things I do are.
I already had a “template” of sorts from my original intro during that era I would have short videos recorded off my phone. That PS2 Intro? Yeah.
But I guess I deleted it or something, new phone maybe? I forgot. So I had to remake it. I didn’t want to take the time to get a vhs overlay, so you’ll notice that the time keeps looping. Could be way more accurate.
I think this might do well, people like this sort of stuff.
I can’t really explain it perfectly.
Driving during a rainy night is a nice thing. However, this wasn’t a rainy night, it’s about 10:54, and was 10:10 during recording. I made it darker.
Now that I think of it, I would like to put on Aria Math in another one of these, but this is boring, I just wanted to mess around with filters and show off this good piece of music.
I won’t make one of these again, I think. It’s too basic and not really impressive. Simply wanted to somewhat “relive” old feels, and create something “aesthetic”.
The rain is nice. It reminds me of when I would play Minecraft on my PS3 back in 2015. I think I played more stuff, I most certainly did, but Minecraft’s Aria Math always comes to mind.
Recently, I’ve thought about simply working on stuff during rain. I remember a few weeks ago I decided to work on my project, I think I’ve mentioned it before. Tales Of Genesis. I won’t explain too much. It’s a game on Roblox, the irony.
Anyways.
I had been hooked on Persona 5 Royal, and I thought of the fact that if you study during rain, you get more knowledge points. So, since then, I always have this concept in my head. When I work during rain, I have an about 25-50% efficiency bonus. It’s a bit silly, but it makes life more fun, comparing it to a game.
I like to leave my blinds open during rain, or during anything. It reminds me of good old times.
