With temperatures soaring, I head out on my bike for a peaceful overnight wild camp in an ancient landscape. This trip is the first overnight test of my new Alpkit Tarpstar 1 tent.
I slept cooler than I would have at home and woke refreshed to a misty landscape.
Because this was a new camp spot for me I decided to pack up early and cycle a few miles to the neighbouring village of Ashbury where I new there was a handy bench to sit down and make my coffee.
Altogether a very successful first use of the Alpkit Tarpstar1 tent, I shall be using it a lot going forward.
