In this video we discuss and identify the Heaton Company and Bogard Company Cat’s Eye marbles, and the collectable Onionskin, “Halloween” and “Sulphide” type marbles produced in Cairo, W.V. We also discuss the industrial marbles produced at the Nutter Farm location and look at some examples of Heaton Agate and Bogard packaging.

We are joined by David Tamulevich and Dave McCullough for some exclusive insights on the factory, which was producing vintage machine-made marbles between 1946 to approximately 1986.

We explore some of the particular Heaton / Bogard cat’s eye structures , patterns and glass colors here and compare some of these marbles to Master marbles, Vitro Agate, Vacor De Mexico and Whisper marbles.

The interviews filmed in this video were recorded in Ellenboro, West Virginia on May 6th 2022.
