Heather Lou went into a sewing hole at the end of December to fill in a few missing pieces from her personal Stone Collection capsule wardrobe. She then spent a few hours trying on different combinations of outfits to see how far she could get before she ran out of steam. Turns out the number is 26!
Here's what she had to say:
Especially for the last pieces I made, I went with mostly black or other neutrals so they would work with the more colourful pieces from the collection. Here's what I'm working with:
#ClosetCoreOnyx in black viscose ponte (I also finished a pair in navy that did not make this video)

#ClosetCoreAlabaster in grey merino
#ClosetCoreMica in the veggie print we designed for Core Fabrics last year
#ClosetCoreMarble in my desert island fabric, textured viscose linen (this colour is out of stock)
#ClosetCoreTravertine tank in our merlot ribbed modal, the skirt in a now sold out viscose velvet, and a dress in the black ribbed modal.
#ClosetCoreTerrazzo in silky poplin. I am desperate to make another in crisp black poplin this spring. I think the green I used is sold out.
#ClosetCoreJade in midweight linen.
#ClosetCoreSlate in substantial cotton broadcloth. This fabric rules so hard, I also used it for Rika Pants. The perfect bottomweight.
#ClosetCoreBasalt in a pinstriped shirting.
#ClosetCoreQuartz in dreamy brown cupro. I feel like a sexy cup of cocoa.
#ClosetCoreObsidian in organic fleece (sized down) and deadstock speckle knit (my size).
