Skit One: Kaede & Komaru
Please don’t say this is a ship video, it’s not, The despair partners AU has no ships included. (Up to you, but in my AU there aren’t any ships for this. Only platonic ones.)
Funfact: If the any of despair partners go have a hypnosis pupils, that’s called their despair eyes. It will happen when that persons despair is in action. For example, if Kaede goes into her pessimistic optimistic emotion, her eyes will change into despair eyes, representing her despair.

Following the previous backstory video I made on Mai “He’s just not into you”, Mai has constantly been trapped in a cycle of being in love, then being abandoned for another. Despite how much heartbreak she always suffers from, she tries her best to be happy.
She likes to stand by her statement of being happy, if they were happy. Though, Hakiree and Kat- her two closest friends from high school- always tried to check in; overprotective over her. But, regardless, Mai gives them the same “Happy” excuse no matter what.
Nonetheless, deep down, she feared being abandoned every time. Repetitively, over and over, she was left behind for someone ‘better’. Eventually, this loop severely affected Mai and her chances of long-term relationships.
The end of this video is a representation. After constantly being abandoned and cheated on by all of her previous lovers, when she finally got close to an actual relationship; her fear of going through the cycle overtook her. Resulting in her ending the relationship herself, to not end up in that loop again.")
