This is based upon another story I wrote called The Heart That Forgot How to Feel, a story in which Fluttershy, after passing, was brought back to life as what's referred to as a 'Personal Duplicate' or PD for short. Basically, a cyborg made from Fluttershy's own DNA and with all of her memories and thought processes. It's like she never died in the first place, except that Rainbow Dash has a very tough time accepting that she's back while still mourning the loss of her friend. She refuses her existence.
How would you react to seeing your dead best friend coming back to life after being gone for years and hoping things would resume as normal? Not only is it tough on Rainbow Dash, but also on Fluttershy's husband, Liam the Human, and their daughter, Shy Fly. How will all of this work out, and will Rainbow Dash accept this new 'Personal Duplicate' of Fluttershy?
