Heart of the OHR is a biannual contest I've held for the OHRRPGCE community since 2010. The purpose of the contest is to invite game developers who use the OHRRPGCE to make the very kinds of games the engine was built for (RPGs) and to finish what they start. Unlike other community contests, the Heart of the OHR operates under a release window system rather than a start-stop system. This means that any game can enter as long as it's released within the window of opportunity and that it adheres to the few standard rules that the contest requires. The game's starting age does not matter. Most contests require that the game see its complete production during the contest window. As a result, most contest games are short and punchy. Heart of the OHR allows game designers to submit long and fully-formed games after any length of time in production.
