Here is a time breakdown suggestion from the moms who've used HOD for years. I found these to be accurate in our other guides as well:
Total time for a day's lessons is about 2.5-3 hours.
Cursive: 5-7 mins.
Reading: 20-30 mins.
Math: 20 mins.
History Box: 8-10 mins.
Bible Study Box: 5- 10 mins.
Rotating Box: 15 mins. (Note: Art days take a little longer.)
Dictation: 5 mins
Poetry: 5-10 mins.
English: 10-15 mins.
Storytime: 15 mins.
Hymns: 5-10 mins.
Science: 15-35 mins.
