We’re back with another episode! This was the second time we filmed outside of Norway, and we headed to a historic market in Rome, Italy. 🇮🇹
Mercato Rionale San Giovanni Di Dio was established in the 1960s, and today, it is one of the largest open air markets in the capital. The market is known for the high quality of its products, most of which are grown or made in close proximity to the city. 🍅
Here, we talked directly to the dedicated people selling fresh produce at their stand every morning! 🎤
Many are farmers themselves, and were keen to share ongoing challenges they face, including: maintaining high yields, adapting to climate change, and ensuring knowledge is passed on from farmer to farmer, to feed future generations. 👨🌾
