Well good afternoon, friends! In this video, I’m opening up and sharing a personal update along with some hard-earned wisdom about relocating to Ecuador. Too many people are selling everything and diving headfirst into life here based solely on YouTube videos or Facebook posts—and then they find out the hard way it’s not what they expected.
I’m here to urge you: visit first. Come live here for 6 months if you can. Test the waters. Don’t assume it’s paradise until you’ve walked the streets, felt the climate, checked the prices, and explored the culture for yourself.
I even read a short message from a couple of dear friends of mine who are planning it the right way—slow, smart, and exploratory. Their approach is exactly what I recommend, and I hope their words resonate with you as much as they did with me.
