My long health journey may actually be coming to an end soon. I received a confirmation for my diagnosis of babesia infection and completed the standard treatment protocol. Basically, I had to take some really strong antibiotics for 2 weeks. It appears that the cause for many of my health issues may have been a parasitic tickborne illness called babesiosis.
