2121: Founders of the Future will transform the University of Leicester’s societal impact.

With over 100 years of history, 2121 focuses on our future – building upon areas of strength and heritage, whilst also trailblazing new paths of research and research inspired education.

The University of Leicester has a recognised history of ground-breaking medical research with notable strengths in cardiovascular, cancer, diabetes and respiratory research, as well as kidney disease, genetics, ethnic health, lifestyle, and the development of alternatives to antibiotics.

2121: Founders of the Future will raise £100 million for the University of Leicester – our most significant fundraising campaign since our founding.
