It took a global pandemic to make the world realise that our breath is the most important aspect of our being. With the second wave of COVID-19 ravaging the lives of thousands of people and the country's health infrastructure, it is time we take the responsibility of our lungs into our own hands.

Facilitator:

Suma is involved in the yoga and meditation programs for the Art of living Foundation. She is also a dietitian and former lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics at the SNDT women's university, Pune.

Operating in 154 countries, The Art of Living Foundation (AOLF) is a non-profit, educational and humanitarian organisation founded in 1981 by the world-renowned humanitarian and spiritual teacher Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. All of AOLF’s programs are guided by Sri Sri’s philosophy: “Unless we have a stress-free mind and a violence-free society, we cannot achieve world peace.”

The AOLF community is diverse and attracts people from all walks of life, backgrounds and religious orientations.

"The Art of Living is more of a principle, a philosophy of living life to its fullest. It is more a movement than an organisation. Its core value is to find peace within oneself and to unite people in our society – of different cultures, traditions, religions, nationalities; and thus reminding us all that we have one goal to uplift human life everywhere."
- Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
