Mark joined the Marines driven by a sense of duty. After his service, he followed in his father’s footsteps and became a police officer. But nothing could prepare him for what he would face. In his brokenness, he stumbled on a podcast featuring a fellow Marine, Chad, where he mentioned Mighty Oaks.
And it was there, during a week that would alter the course of his life, that he found something deeper than therapy or quick fixes—he found healing, hope, and the truth of the Gospel.
Now, restored and renewed through the saving grace of Jesus Christ, he serves as a team leader with Mighty Oaks, walking alongside other warriors and first responders on their path to recovery!
