Practice with our free 7 Chakra Camp on YouTube.
The Swadishthana Chakra is located in the pelvic region, just below the navel. 🪷
The name Swadishthana comes from Sanskrit and means “one’s own abode.” It decides how we connect with ourselves and how we truly view ourselves.
When this chakra is balanced, we feel good about ourselves. We feel we are worthy of good things in life and even pursue them.
On the other hand, when it is blocked, it often shows up as guilt, shame, emotional heaviness, or feeling stuck in the past.
That's where Yoga comes in
🧘🏻♀️ Yoga Asanas : Pelvic-opening asanas can help release stored tension from this area and re-energise the chakra
🧘🏻♀️ Yoga Nidra: Deep rest that allows emotional release without effort. This also improves the flow of energy in Swadishthana
This is a reminder to be gentle with yourself. Your body remembers, but it also knows how to release if you just provide the right environment 🕊️
