I have wanted to continue telling this story for 2 years now, and I finally found a song that fits just right! :D But I got some real flashbacks to the time I was working on "Between The Raindrops"… This project was overdue for way too long, and I started to loose my patience. I wanted to drop it at some points, but I was so close to finishing it so I kinda had to suck it up and keep going. There are so many things that I did not get into this and parts that I am unhappy with, but I just wanted to get it over with.
And for someone who says she hates still frame endings, I sure do use them a lot. :P

STORY
(everything takes place after "Welcome to the Slaughterhouse"):
Jasmine is under strict supervision after her attempt to escape from the brothel. She tries to cling to the hope that her love will someday come for her, but her daydreaming is constantly being interrupted by the images Lady Tremine's "punishments" (OBS: The hour-glass scene is only a metaphorical dream). But Cinderella, a maid, notices Jasmines situation, and when Chel gets these news she immediately conjures up a plan to save her friend. The plan succeeds, and Jasmine escapes the town.
Time goes by and Jasmine finally finds her lost love. When Proteus recognizes her he brings her to the inn he is currently staying at. But Jasmine's dreams comes soon crumbling down when she realizes that she is not the only woman in Proteus' life. What will she do now? Stay with him, the man she thought loved her, or return back to save the only people who have ever truly cared for her?

This is a story about sacrificing your own safety for somebody else and about facing reality's ugly rear end. For those of whom thought this was going to have a romantic ending - the reason why I had this turn of events was because even if I may think that Jasmine and Proteus look really good side by side in part 1, I never intended for these characters to have their happily ever after.
PS: Even though I have an idea to how this story would continue, I have no plans of making a part 3.
