Simgot created a hybrid IEM and attempted to match the Harmon 2019 target curve. How did they do?
As @asx1248 correctly pointed out 3 dB won’t be doubly loud for the average viewer. An increase of 3 dB represents a doubling of the sound pressure, an increase of about 10 dB is required before the sound subjectively appears to be twice as loud. When you reach my level of hearing their is no difference between sound pressure and loudness.
