Millicent Martin (Frasier, Side By Side By Sondheim) and Pat Finley (Bob Newhart Show, Mary Tyler Moore, Rockford Files) starred in this Sheldon Leonard/Sir Lew Grade sitcom, the first British-American TV co-production for NBC. It aired in 1971 but was filmed in 1969. A wacky "Lucy" comedy with flight attendants, it was a silly, warm-hearted family show that was not given a fair chance.
This is one of its most fanciful moments, showcasing Martin's spectacular Broadway/West End singing voice and Finley's superb timing. They made a great team. "Head in the Clouds" was written by Frank Barbar and Jack Fishman, who also wrote the theme song.
