Friends, the Church gives us two great images during the Mass of the Lord’s Supper.

In the washing of the feet and the institution of the Eucharist, the whole Christian life is summed up.

It’s not about clamoring to the top, it’s about giving the self away in love.

On Holy Thursday, it was a great joy to share this message at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka in Winona, Minnesota.
