At the 28th Annual 75 Chrome Shop Truck Show, Chris caught up with John Spencer of ELMB Transport out of Frederick, Maryland, and took a closer look at his beautifully customized 1996 Peterbilt 379.
Built by One of a Kind Customs, this Peterbilt features a 12.7 Detroit, fresh frame-up work, air ride, a clean custom interior, recessed boxes, and a polished setup that still goes back to work. John says he gave the builders free range — and even joked that he handed them a blank check — and the result is a sharp, clean, working show truck with just about everything redone.
John also talks about getting his CDL back in 1986, spending 25 years with the DC Fire Department, hauling pneumatic, and making his first trip to the 75 Chrome Shop Truck Show.
