Elik Gorelik was 15 when he made his first flip after finding an underpriced pair of Jordans on eBay. The profit was only $20, but it changed how he looked at sneakers. By the time he graduated high school, he knew he was an entrepreneur, he’d built an inventory of about 100 pairs while juggling school, wrestling, and selling online at night.
After college, Elik did what a lot of people do and took a regular job. He hated it. A year and a half later, he quit and went all in on sneaker reselling Business from his parents’ house, stacking boxes until they filled his bedroom and hallway. That pressure pushed him to open a small sneaker shop in Los Angeles during the pandemic, starting with a few hundred pairs and learning fast how thin margins really are.
Today, Elik sells roughly 1,000 pairs a week through his shop and live streams, moving volume instead of chasing hype. He talks openly about scams, fake shoes, long hours, and why a $50 profit isn’t disposable income.
