Mahalo to everyone who joined UH Hilo and the Keaukaha Community Association for He Pūkoʻa Kani ʻĀina!

This collaborative community event brought together our UH Hilo Coral Nursery researchers, CNHS faculty, students, and local community partners to "talk story" about marine conservation, host a Moʻolelo Walk, and conduct a hands-on coral outplanting effort at Puhi Bay.

Special thanks to all of our incredible local partners, including the Division of Aquatic Resources (DAR), Hui Hoʻoleimaluo, Mokupāpapa Discovery Center, PIPES, and Conservation International for making this day a success.
