A Bruno Fernandes hat-trick fired Manchester United to a 5-2 victory over Ipswich Town in Sunday evening’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
Fernandes’ treble, a Bryan Mbeumo strike and an own goal from Town’s Jacob Greaves sealed the win for the home side, who had earlier fallen behind to a 29th minute strike from Leif Davis.
Chuba Akpom scored a late consolation for the visitors in the 91st minute, but it did little to take the shine off a comprehensive victory for the ‘Red Devils’, who bounced back in style following last weekend’s shock 2-0 defeat to Hull City.
