The Baphuon Pyramid was not designed to guide visitors — it was designed to control movement. Paths rise only to terminate. Chambers exist with no visible entry. A colossal form appears locked into the structure itself, aligned with the geometry rather than placed upon it. Certain sections are sealed with precision, as if access was intentionally denied rather than lost. Locals say the site responds, that it absorbs offerings and changes over time. If this was only architecture, none of this would be necessary. Whatever was placed here was meant to remain inside.
