A Gannon University student biked from Erie, Pa. to Arlington, Tex. last month just to watch his country's soccer team play in the World Cup.
Yuto Sato, a business major and Japanese foreign exchange student at Gannon, had just wrapped up his first year when he decided to make the trip.
When planning got complicated, Sato turned to AI for help. It gave him one key piece of advice: Connect with local communities on social media. Strangers answered his call.
Japan didn't advance to the round of 32. But Sato had already done something remarkable. He'd pedaled through half of the United States on his own. And along the way, he collected stories and friendships that will outlast any tournament.
